L'Amour Fou

For those of you who are fascinated by the partnership of Pierre Berge and Yves Saint Laurent like I am, then you need to see L'Amour Fou, which has recently been released on Netflix. This fascinating documentary also gives an exclusive look into the extraordinary, rarified collection of the art, furniture and objects that the two had amassed together in just 20 years and the subsequent sale through Christies. I found myself in awe of Pierre Berge and his understanding within himself that it was time to let go of their collection soon after Monsieur St. Laurents death in 2008.

LOVED the film. I also got if from NF. I had the rare opportunity to see the Paris apt of YSL (although if I must be honest, without the man in residence). Nonetheless, it was something I will cherish! Thanks for the reminder :-)
