I Dream of Spring

We are experiencing our second winter here in Santa Fe and they seem to last forever. But perhaps thats true anywhere you have cold winters. So when I found the most beautiful bundle of budding quince at our local Whole Foods, I was immediately uplifted by the promise of the coming Spring.

My little tableau includes my growing collection of African currency pieces which I love. In the background, a framed panel of hand embroidered linen with hollyhock, foxglove and fluttering insects.
