Portland Architectural Salvage

If you ever find yourself in Portland Maine be sure to stop by and check out Portland Architectural Salvage. Its is four floors and a basement chock a block full of architectural salvage materials from road signs to doors, hardware, windows, columns, lighting fixtures and industrial components turned into cool furniture. I had fun exploring everything and know that I will have to stop by many times to keep up on their ever changing inventory. If only our house in Maine was a fixer upper. If it was I would be coming here weekly!

Loved this road sign

Large industrial wheels turned into a wood topped coffee table

Metal links turned into lamps. I liked the patina on the metal sign letters.

Interesting assortment of painted signs

Amazing selection of columns

More columns

Next time were going to our home in Maine I am stopping to pick up this great metal urn

Garden planters and trellises galore!

I would have these great metal outdoor chairs refinished but liked the weathering on them

We visited this fabulous shop back in July. It's huge and full of fantastic treasures including industrial pieces and garden items.
